National Airlines Announces Expansion from Puerto Rico

National-Airlines-Boeing-757-200-300x225Airways News – Orlando-based National Airlines is keeping the pace to meet customer demand from Puerto Rico to the Continental US. Besides adding more frequencies between San Juan and Orlando-Sanford, the carrier has announced today the launch of flights from Aguadilla to Orlando, starting in June.

“Demand has been high for all of the markets we’ve been serving and we are thrilled to extend our convenient and inclusive service to even more travelers,” said National Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Edward Davidson.

These cities in Puerto Rico will also connect to Long Island in New York in July, when the airline launches services to Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) in Islip next July. To date, ISP has a large Southwest Airlines presence, offering flights to San Juan via Baltimore, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa. American Airlines also offers flights to San Juan from Islip via Philadelphia.

“There is a vibrant Puerto Rican community in and around Islip and the entire New York City region, and we believe travelers will find our combination of convenient location and inclusive service very attractive” commented Davidson.
